I too feel Tookie has turned his life around and is infact doing good. However, the people he killed are still dead. The crime was done. He played, now he must pay. Not only have the families been waiting for final closure for 24 years, but imagine how expensive it is to keep all of these violent criminals alive for appeals and so on.
