Oregon and New Jersey are the only two states in the US that requires, by law, all gas stations to be full-serve. He was in favor of that requirement.

He wants to force the rest of us to be waited on, and pay for it, just because he likes it.

As an example, I hate going to buffet restaurants. If I’m going to a restaurant, I want to sit at a table, have a server come, take my order, and serve me. That’s why I go to restaurants. If I were like this guy, though, I would be trying to use the power of government to outlaw buffet restaurants.

We all like to be waited on, but I’m not willing to use the force of government to make sure it happens.

His arguments about why he shouldn’t pump gas, do not sound like any profound leftist ideas.
In the northeast there are still a few gas station that still pump gas. I like it and willing to pay.
