Just look at the “Democrats” who replaced Republicans. Most of them are moderately pro-life, against gun control, for smaller, more efficient govt. They certainly don’t sound like Pelosi and co. They won because the Republicans are a bunch of moral elitists and “compassionate conservativism” is nothing but code for religious big government. I’ve said for quite a while that the Republicans had lost their way, but nobody listened to little ol’ me.

The interesting thing will be when the Angry Left realizes that the Democratic victory was a Pyhrric one for them. This is not going to bring their agenda to the table the way they are hoping, it simply repudiates the liberals in conservative clothing that have run things for the last 6 years.
