Now someone busting in @ 2am and smoke bombs and you are 1/2 asleep with a handgun under the pillow and a shotgun under the bed you’re looking at a gun battle . The sad thing would be is that they would have or had the wrong house and you get to die and they get to live because you do not sleep with bulletproof jacket, helmet and such.

This is all bull-shi*. If they are that bad or actual meth house you would put a surveillance team outside the house one or two days before the raid or some sort of surveillance.

I don’t know about you but it doesn’t take squad to be part of SWAT just another officer with some shooting skills. I meet with them down the bar while they get wasted or some that have DUI on their records. Go figure.

I\’ve spoken out about it for a long time and about the subtle racism involved for a long time. I\’d point you to those writings, but they are under a different name that I can\’t associate with this one for a variety of reasons.

I hope you recognize that the key here is that people wake up and see the issue, regardless of whether they did so in the past, or not. I also hope you have seen the number of posts on this site about the \”War on Drugs\” that decry the violence. You might notice the number of posts here about the Cory Maye case. Do you?

As I mentioned in the article, it’s not just about no-knock raids, although they are receiving the headlines.

As the Jamaica incident points out, there is a definite shoot-first-and-ask-questions later philosophy at play here. No-knock raids are a big part of that, but so is the Jamaica incident, and the incident in Fairfax, Virginia I posted about last night.
