		<description><![CDATA[Doug, you missed the real issue, the one that keeps the FCC in existence. The censors of the Right and the Left want to make sure no one can be indecent. Mrs. Grundy, of all political flavors, is alive and well. She&#039;s fully aware that killing off the FCC kills off a huge amount of her power, and she is determined not to let that happen. If anyone starts to really move forward on FCC elimination, expect to hear cries of &quot;for the sake of the children&quot;!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[[...] I was just going to add this to the links of the day, when I saw a few things I wanted to highlight here from Paris Lemon The Los Angeles Times had a very interesting op-ed piece today which points out something that seems to be almost completely overlooked; say Hillary Clinton is elected President in 2008 and again in 2012, by the times she leaves office in 2017 that would have been 28 straight years of someone named either Bush or Clinton in the White House! This is even worse if you consider the 8 years George H.W. Bush served as Ronald Reagan&#8217;s Vice President&#8230;that would be 36 years! [...]]]></description>
