Either the House is going to have to adopt these tax breaks or the bill will die in committee. I think the Senate version of the bill will ultimately prevail because the Democrats want the minimum wage increase so they can claim they are “doing something” for the “working class.” It’s too bad that none of these 3 senators have thrown their hat in the ring so far in the presidential race.
