LLR,

The problem is the Teacher's Union. They have so much power in this state, our (spineless)elected officials don't dare vote against them.

They have single-handedly ruined the economy of the state to the point where we rank at the bottom of all 50 states.

They hold the children's education "hostage" to get what they want. If you have ever seen a Detroit School Board meeting, it looks like a Saturday night "SMACKDOWN". Teachers throwing things and yelling like lunatics. It's disgusting.....

Pauline,

Obviously, you do not believe in "innocent until proven guilty". Apparently you've had access to all the evidence the rest of us haven't.

The Innocence Project has exonerated 198 people through DNA evidence and prosecutorial misconduct. I guess you believe all of them are still guilty too?

God help the person who has you on their jury. You're dangerous!!!!

Pauline, wrong thread. Also, you might want to brush up on the history of the Scotsboro Boys

You are placing your trust in the wrong man.

Now phase 2 next:
Let all stand behind Mike Nifong's and supports him all the way for his leadership, for equality for all.
Write letter to your senators and representatives, Highlight the paradox of this kind of pressure from so- call money and political untaganizers. If each time someone acts out of integrity and duty they are penalized over time, they become reluctance and fearful and only applied justice to the voiceless only.
North Carolina Attorney, Roy Cooper's office this is not fair.
North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper's office on Wednesday dropped all charges in the Duke lacrosse case, which it took over from Durham County in January.
Dig deep enough and you will see preferential treatment, this unfair act is not justice, and these kinds of treatment should never be applause.
No, thank to modern day lynching there is no applause here.
North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper's office on Wednesday dropped all charges in the Duke lacrosse case, which it took over from Durham County in January. He is laughing now! However, during his career someone will do this to him back.

Reade Seligmann, Collin Finnerty and David Evans were indicted last spring on charges of rape, kidnapping and sexual offense after the woman told police she was assaulted in the bathroom at an off-campus house during a team party where she had been hired to perform.
From where I am sitting, they are and will be guilty in my opinion. When one of the mother said, “Do you know who you are dealing with” that said a mouth full-it all one statement. My child can act and say whatever he or she please without recourse always. Perfect example of bad moral and they used money to pave their way. Karma baby –equal cancer, stroke, UN pronoun able diseases
An exotic dancer or not, rape is rape, they are guilty and justice was not serve.

What are they going to do with the iPod. What is the educational value? I think electronic media in combination of homeschooling (give the elderly income) should be the future of education.

Look on the bright side, it will probably depress the price for iPods on eBay.

Of course, Michigan shouldn't be doing that, either. I'm just saying...

When I first saw this article I thought it was an April Fool’s joke until I realized that AFD was gone 5 days ago. I don’t know what is going on in Michigan. I would say that it was some “feel good legislation” if it was something like a computer. You know that the poor kids don’t have a computer in every house. I would still disagree with it but a computer is a lot more practical than an IPOD. Maybe the Dems there are looking for Apple donations to their campaigns. The funny thing is that Steve Jobs supports school choice.

Obviously somebody on the school board is sleeping with Steve Jobs.

How, exactly, does the school board define an iPod as a public good? How will they deliver the media to the device? You need a computer for that. Will the school board provide Mac Books for all the students, too? What about policing them? How will the school board ensure the "educational iPod" isn't used to store and play something prohibited like... oh I don't know... music and this week's Lost episode?

Outrageous!
