The people that object because it's 'illegal' are playing the pols game. All the latter have to do is make it 'legal' or ignore the former altogether. Hammering the moral argument is the only thing that counts, pointing out <a href="http://djomama.blogspot.com/2006/11/gun-in-room.html" rel="nofollow">the gun in the room</a>. Two more people that ‘get it’.

I earned that money through my time, effort, knowledge, etc. That money represents those things. If you steal money from me, you are stealing my time, my knowledge, my skills.
