You’re right, this is a huge failure of the govt. It’s partly congress, both parties, who have not dealt with this issue, did amnesty before, and only gave him the border fence law a short while ago. It’s partly Bush, who is soo wrong in his view that we shouldn’t or can’t deport the illegals. It’s also Bush’s fault that we have only built 10 miles of fence. If they really wanted to, they could build it quickly.

Forget the 1000 pages, the real solution is simple: 1) finish fence by summer’s end 2) Announce that whoever comes forward now will be given amnesty for the immigration violations only, and returned, along with their family, to their country of origin, with $1000 each. 12 billion isn’t much in the whole scheme of things. Each person will be biometrically identified, and will never be allowed to return. 3) Whoever is found after the deadline will be subject to 1 year in jail.

on another note rudy is a globalist just like bush. his law firm has a stake in the north american union and IMO thats a conflict of interest since he is running for president.

according to the texas department of transportation guilianis houston based law firm ‘ bracewell & guiliani ‘ represents cintra concesiones which is a spanish megacorporation that joined with zachary construction on the trans texas corridor. this means he has a stake in this backdoor plan the elites are trying to pull on us. whats funny is he is the media darling and the elites darling. fox news is constantly propping him up and this should be very alarming how non of this is reported.

it’s funny how people like gunnar make the case about how we should get involved constantly in foreign affairs to prevent ‘ an attack on the homeland ‘ and use ww2 ( a declared war ) as an example. tell me something gunnar why is it this whole time we have been fighting this ‘ war on terror ‘ overseas we have left our borders wide open and letting people cross in by the millions? over 6 million people came across since bush has been in office and these clowns still have the nerve to make the claim they are defending the country? I think it’s very dishonest to constantly play on peoples patriotism and and constantly parrot an undecalred war in iraq while ignoring the borders and encouraging illegal entrance.
that’s being irresponsible it’s as simple as that.

if this administration and all the other neo-cons like rudy think national defense is so importance in this ‘age of terror’ then why have we not guarded our borders 100 % and made them secure? how can we fight a war on terror with wide open borders? the talking points are getting old, washington has sold this country out and the undeclared war in iraq is a distraction to whats really going on behind the scenes in our own homeland. americans need to wake up.

and for all those drones saying paul is a 9/11 truther all he said was he wants a non government investigation done by a private party. paul does not trust the government to investigate themselves.

the sooner people stop drinking fox koolaid and other corrupt media outlets the better.

Its no mystery – Giuliani’s firm represents the Parent Company of FOX NEWS. Yep. Bet they won’t be emphasizing that fact in their coverage of Giuliani’s debate behavior. Look it up. “Fair and Balanced”. Fact is, its not just FOX, all the major media outlets are bought and paid for.

On another note- that Giuliani could be the frontrunner, after exhibiting that he has no familiarity with basic facts laid out in the 9-11 commission report, is frightening, and portends just how far into the Orwelian rabbit hole we’ve fallen.

Was that to mean Fruity Rudy doesn’t THINK? Because he’s fully aware of the concept that provoking someone could possibly elicit a repsonse. A three year-old understands that simple cause and effect.

If RuGu (pronounced “roo joo”) can’t comprehend simple human nature, he shouldn’t even be president of the glee club, let alone the U.S. of A.

I support Dr. Ron Paul 100%…

He needs not only our verbal support but he needs donations to fight and keep his message moving ahead. I just found a new article that stated they were going to try to keep him from all future debates.

I pray for his strength and family and out nation.

WIthout a doubt the elite are afraid of postive showing… I would suggest he call Rudy out and debate him 1:1.

In fact why don’t we all begin to post a requst for Rudy to debate Paul 1:1.

Yes, it is true that Ron Paul is the last chance we have to save this country through the political system. If Ron Paul, or his friend Tom Tancredo, is not elected president in 2008 the Establishment will have U.S. submerged in the North American Union before we can vote again. But it will be too late because that election will be for president of North America.

Shift the entire war effort to a single front- afghanistan. The muslim zealots will follow. Let iraq have the civil war Bush 1 hoped for to sort things out. Set up a stronger diplomatic channels with mideast to get them to own the Iraq problem. Provide aid to Iraq war refugees through those channels if requested. Abandon the “America knows best for everyone, benovelent imperialism” coupled with the “boogie man fears of the pending islamo-fascist blitzkrieg.” Get some integrity, find some traction and start winning this thing. Dr. Paul could do it.

Dr. Ron Paul won the debate. Dr. Ron Paul is only real true conservative. He is not fake like
Giuliani.

True conservative supports

1) Small government;; Ron Paul is supports decreasing government like Homeland Security department, IRS, other department; Giuliani on the other hand made New York city government really big

2) Supports 100% free market;; Ron Paul pro-free market, Giuliani, Mitt Romney and others don’t support free market

3) No world policing;; Ron Paul is only one that doesn’t want USA to world police the world

4) Give more rights to the people and trust the people

5) No welfare and more jobs;; Ron Paul don’t support giving state aids to other countries, but support giving more private aids to countries

6) Lower taxes;; Ron Paul wants to get rid of the IRS

It’s just not working for RUDY! Including the main issue he wanted to run on! How could he fail so miserably on this most important issue. Did he not read the commission report? I found portions of this on Yahoo! I think he owes Dr. Ron Paul a huge apology!

The 9-11 Commission report detailed how bin Laden had, in 1996, issued “his self-styled fatwa calling on Muslims to drive American soldiers out of Saudi Arabia” and identified that declaration and another in 1998 as part of “a long series” of statements objecting to U.S. military interventions in his native Saudi Arabia in particular and the Middle East in general. Statements from bin Laden and those associated with him prior to 9-11 consistently expressed anger with the U.S. military presence on the Arabian Peninsula, U.S. aggression against the Iraqi people and U.S. support of Israel.

The 9-11 Commission based its assessments on testimony from experts on terrorism and the Middle East. Asked about the motivations of the terrorists, FBI Special Agent James Fitzgerald told the commission: “I believe they feel a sense of outrage against the United States. They identify with the Palestinian problem, they identify with people who oppose repressive regimes, and I believe they tend to focus their anger on the United States.”

Fitzgerald’s was not a lonely voice in the intelligence community.

Michael Scheuer, the former Central Intelligence Agency specialist on bin Laden and al-Qaeda, has objected to simplistic suggestions by President Bush and others that terrorists are motivated by an ill-defined irrational hatred of the United States. “The politicians really are at great fault for not squaring with the American people,” Scheuer said in a CNN interview. “We’re being attacked for what we do in the Islamic world, not for who we are or what we believe in or how we live. And there’s a huge burden of guilt to be laid at Mr. Bush, Mr. Clinton, both parties for simply lying to the American people.”
