I say VP because he was in one of the Oklahoma newspapers a couple weeks ago that he isn't running for pres.

He was the one who offered the amendment that said we have to enforce existing laws before the immigration bill can be implemented.

It failed 42-54, which actually gives me some perverse hope that the 42-54 could become a 51-49 standing on its own.

He's a bit socially conservative for me, but then again almost every republican is.

I don't know much about Colburn, but I know how many times I have heard of him trying to limit government. Just for having the courage to keep trying means I would rather have him in the Senate as a member rather than presiding as VP. Perhaps he can give some of the newer members courage to also try and limit spending.

VP? I don't know too much about Sen. Colburn but what I do know I like. I know he is great as far as spending goes. If he were to throw his hat into the ring, I would give him serious consideration for POTUS. But I agree that he would be a great choice as a running mate as well.

He'd be an ideal VP, in my opinion.
