This is a good thing, because if we had private universities you would have so many universities wasting resources trying to lobby private foundations for money. Think of all the wasted resources! Or, on the other hand, this might be a good time to start talking about getting rid of state and local governments in favor of placing all powers in the hands of our beltway overlords.
