Giuliani is simply not supportable unless you are a rightwing social democrat, but certainly not a libertarian or a conservative.

It’s my understanding, that Thompson was backed by the Republican Liberty Caucus in his first race in the early 1990s.

His scores on the RLC Indexes were always very high.

I could support Giuliani. But Thompson is more libertarian and trustworthy.

Ron Paul just seems too fringe to the typical Republican voters. And as much as I enjoy him getting his message out, he’s no match for Thompson, image wise or in electability.

As a longtime libertarian, I’m now in the Thompson camp.

Many of these polls are taken at events that cost money. Many of the attendees have delegate sponsorship and invitations.

Fred is the Establishments pick. Bushies are supporting him. Google … Fred Thompson Bush nephew … for lots of information.

Thompson is going to run on as a “guns and butter” candidate. The best I can ascertain, Thompson advocates simultaneous wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, and tentatively, Mexico, given the rhetoric.

How does all these wars jive with a fundamental reform of our tax code…in short, it doesn’t compute.

But you know, Thompson played a Chief of Staff, a General, a prosecutor, and a CIA director in Hollywood, so the conservatives worship at his one-dimensional acting shrine to deliver them a miracle. And Thompson is already re-cycling old movie lines, not even having the decency to acknowledge the lines are from his co-stars.

That bit about “Al-Qaeda plans for the next 100 years while we plan for the next election” is straight from “In the Line of Fire.” Except it was uttered by the John Malkovich character, he uttered “the Japanese plan for the next quarter century while we plan for the next fiscal quarter,” playing an assassin trying to cozy up to party figure-heads so he could get a clean shot at the president at a fund raiser.

Fred, if i recall corectly, you played a cowardly suck-up politico dissed by Eastwood’s bravery in the end for that movie. Don’t remind us…

Fred Thompson was the winner

What the hell? I thought Fred was still undeclared? And what did he say to get ahead of Ron Paul, did he promise to invade other countries for tax revenue to reduce the domestic tax burden?

What Ron Paul needs most is “Money” I’m using this and it is working very well… consider it… Everyone can afford it!!!

Consider the only Conservative Presidential Candidate… Ron Paul…
