as for conservatives and economic freedom, I&#039;ll grant that the conservative &lt;em&gt;leadership&lt;/em&gt; has never been about economic freedom.  But I&#039;d think that much of the conservative &lt;em&gt;people&lt;/em&gt; as a whole &lt;em&gt;do&lt;/em&gt; value it.]]></description>

<p>as for conservatives and economic freedom, I&#8217;ll grant that the conservative <em>leadership</em> has never been about economic freedom.  But I&#8217;d think that much of the conservative <em>people</em> as a whole <em>do</em> value it.</p>
