Isn't it funny that the Federal Government cannot tell a state whether or not they can put someone to death, but can tell you what weed you can't grow in your own backyard?

Great news? Our 'federal' government in Canada went into the weed growing business and the product was at best distasteful, at worst, poisonous. A few of us here, in B.C., were the first licensed growers and it was nothing but hassle after hassle to get our product to market (at a cheaper price than the street price) since we were competing with Ottawa.
What does the State know about strains, specific needs and growing conditions? Will the State breed illness specific strains, or simply offer a 'few sizes fit all' cannabis? When we dealt with a neighbour with colon cancer it took 27 strains to find the right one to get him off morphine and able to live his last days in delight with his family. We bred those strains under duress, but we did it!
What everyone needs to do is find what's right for them and then grow it. Or get someone close to grow it. And as for 'The World' coming to America's aid vs. its federal government...geesh, I've been in too many situations with the DEA, Texas Rangers, FBI in CANADA to look further than my own neighbourhood for change. You are all kind of on your own on this one...
Good news? Yes. Workable news...no! Good luck!

YES! This is a step in the right direction. I'm in pain. I could legitimately use marijuana. I live in Virginia. I am moving as soon as I can.
The federal government needs to stay out of my life.
The ONLY thing that scares me in this world is the U.S. government. We need to do something about it. THE WHOLE WORLD NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. It's out of control. Actually it's in too much control and that's the problem. It's a government. It's job is to help people. The U.S. government hurts more people than anything else in the history of humankind ever. Material possessions and a feeling of security is not worth what the U.S. government is getting away with let alone what goes on that the public doesn't even know about. It may even be too late for humanity. It's sad. Very sad. I'm glad I don't have kids.

Unfortunately for anyone licensed by New Mexico, the Department of Justice doesn’t care about your silly federal laws. Shouldn't that say state laws?
