		<description>Again, hardly surprising that it&#039;s taken the Bush administration this long to catch on.  Bush&#039;s entire MO domestically during his tenure has been about increasing centralized power at the expense of Constitutional protections.  And since he often opposes Constitutional freedoms for his own people, why on Earth would he think it was a good idea to give those same freedoms to the Iraqis?  Giving the Iraqis the right to stand up for and defend themselves as well as letting them create a functional society they can peacefully live with would mean Bush couldn&#039;t take credit for doing it for them.

Reason #37 why he&#039;s the worst commander-in-chief in U.S. history and why, if there was truly any justice in the world, there&#039;d be a war crimes tribunal and a prison cell waiting in Dubya&#039;s future.</description>
