The book changed my life in high school. Much was clarified. It made me the moral and financial success I became. This was a great monologue. The two hundred pages of monologue, though, became too much for me the first time through. I did eventually read all of the John Galt monologue, too. Good perspectives, examples, and ideas in every paragraph.

I loved the ideas in the book, just not the book itself.

Hey, and I think this was the five-page uninterrupted monologue that finally convinced me that I hated the book. I'm not certain, though, there were so many of them and Rand had a tendency to repeat the same things in each of them.
