Giuliani And Romney: We Aren’t Dying, But We Know Better Than You
by Doug MataconisCourtesy of YouTube, some supreme audacity from the former Mayor of New York and the former Governor of Massachusetts when confronted with people for whom medical marijuana is a real, everyday, issue:
First, Il Duce:
Then, Romney:
The utter disregard for the suffering of real people that drips from the canned rhetoric of these two men is, in a word, disgusting.

Romney didn’t even answer the guy’s question! He was rude and disrespectful! And Giuliani says there are better alternatives, but some people may be allergic to those or they may not be able to afford them. I’m against using recreational drugs, but if someone else does them…who cares!? That’s their own choice. Vote Ron Paul 2008!
Comment by Andy — November 2, 2007 @ 6:52 amBetween the two, Romney’s response bothers me more. He couldn’t get away from that man in a wheelchair fast enough.
Comment by Stephen Littau — November 2, 2007 @ 4:02 pmWhat can you really expect from Romney? He’s a big government conservative who thinks that taking a hard line against drugs is going to win him the primary. He’s not going to back away from that position now and he’s going to run like hell from any situation that catches him in an uncomfortable bind where he has to explain himself…just like any politician with a bad platform usually will.
Comment by UCrawford — November 2, 2007 @ 4:20 pmRomney is even worse, if possible than Guiliani(although marijuana is also internationally recognized for pain management), because Marijuana is a standard treatment for Multiple Sclerosis in Canada and Great Britain and many other countries and his Wife has MS. What an utter creep. His own Wife could very possibly end up in a wheelchair and be frustrated at feeling so helpless an impotent when people walk away, ignore and disregard what she says because of the wheelchair.
Comment by E Philipp — November 9, 2007 @ 7:29 pmThis one needs to get out everywhere. He (MittWit) deserved to go down before, but even more so for this. Guliani was just dodging the question by referring to the corrupted FDA, which isn’t good either, but MittWit was the worst.
Dr. Paul would probably first write them both prescriptions then follow up with pardons…
Comment by Tannim — November 9, 2007 @ 8:50 pmGuliani is spineless and so is Romney.
