Ideally, no. But as I said on another thread, we are a long way off from reaching that ideal.

		<description><![CDATA[I believe that his speech is not a matter of religious test, but is however, a complete waste of time. I believe that the constitution apples to government tests for religion, but also protects against those who are elected to office based upon religious reasons (they cannot pass laws respecting particular religions nor prohibit the free practice thereof). People are going to be silly and pious no matter what, and if they want to vote for someone on religious qualifications, so be it, that is their right. They are, however, simply wrong.]]></description>
