A little something from my childhood:

Start with a jumbo hot dog. Put a slice about equal to the radius of the dog all the way down one side. Fit some cheese in there. Then wrap the rest in bacon (use some toothpics to keep it together) and cook.

I’m not sure how it’s cooked, as it was served to me in a restaurant when I was about 9 years old. But I’m sure a little trial and error, and you can figure out something workable…
