It takes a certain sociopath to ignore this fact.

To be honest, I’ve considered Bush to be that sort of sociopath for quite awhile now. Unless it’s something that affects him personally, the damage of his policies is just something for “other people” to deal with and clean up.

Honestly, Bush 43 has been so horrific that it’s made me wonder what kind of rotten father Bush 41 must have been to turn out a son so murderously incompetent and self-absorbed.

The big difference between a game and war is that after a game, everyone goes home. Deaths or serious injuries are rare. On the other hand in war, deaths and hideous crippling injuries are the norm. It takes a certain sociopath to ignore this fact. It’s excusable in the young. They don’t know any better and they’re wired to be aggressive. But, by his thirties everyone should know better, particularly if they’ve lived though a war themselves.

I never understood why the Vietnam vets rallied around bush, since during the time of the Vietnam War, one of the despised was the “Guard.” Grant it I was not around all vets, but I heard their disparaging remarks often enough.
