That is why I hate the state.  Justice, IMO, has nothing to do with punishing the criminal (that&#039;s God&#039;s job), but everything to do with making the victim whole (that&#039;s our job).  I have no problem making the victim whole (and then some) by auctioning some or all of the criminal&#039;s life/liberty/property with the proceeds going towards the victim, not the state.]]></description>
