I don’t know how they do it, but Google manages my spam extremely well. I get several hundred spams a day, but only a handful make it to my inbox each month. I don’t think the filter has ever had a false positive, either.

There was a great article written not too long ago about these guys who scam the scammers. Self regulation is indeed the best way.
