I often wonder how many Muslims think that same thing about Osama bin Laden, Ayatollah Khamenei and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

I hate how the loud mouth right wing christians give us other christians a bad name. I don’t believe that they represent the majority of christians, even though they are the only ones you hear on TV, since they give you made for TV quotes and the like. Most christians are not trying to bring attention to themselves. They are just trying to lead a decent life. Most will quietly help others who are in need of help. They are not living to glorify themselves but rather God. Most christians live quiet, happy, helpful lives.

I’m not trying to be annoying but what translation is that? I’ve never seen it translated as “inherit the land” or “clean of heart”?

Aside from that a good article, people will use religion as a basis for whatever they want- be they racists, murderers, sexual predators, or politicians. I suppose even gung-ho policemen need to rip up scripture as a basis for a poor argument.
