Of course. Personally, I’d be thrilled if we could glue every rep to his email client, but the sad truth is that most of the public expects the reps to pass laws to “fix” “problems”. With that in mind, it’s no surprised that there is a sorting and filtering process applied to emails.

So yeah, it doesn’t matter how eloquent your letter is, so long as you make sure they know to place it in the “Don’t you dare vote yes!” pile.
