I wish more journalists would ask questions like these of both sides. Biden’s response to the “spread the wealth” comment was that Obama doesn’t want to spread the wealth around. I don’t think anyone can doubt that Obama does want to spread the wealth around. How else can he give a “tax cut” to 95% of working Americans when 50% don’t even pay taxes. Call it what it is. A refundable income tax credit going to someone who didn’t pay any income tax is welfare. Instead of criticizing the journalist or talking about the justice of her “punishment” I would like to see more talk about the issues she brought up.

My favorite: “Now you recently said, ‘Mark my words,it will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama.’ But what worries many people is your caveat, asking them to stand with him because it’s not going to be apparant initially that he’s right.
