I believe somebody should have call a psychiatrist, when the parents decided to name their child Adolf Hitler !!!

What evidence of abuse do you have other than the statements from DYFS ?

Given their history, I don’t trust them.

Second, NO where does it ever say that the NAMES were what constituted the abuse. Here is a quote for NJ.com from the DYFS official: “Just to be clear, removal of a child from a family is only done when there’s an imminent danger to a child and that wouldn’t include the child’s name alone,” spokeswoman Kate Bernyk said. “We wouldn’t remove a child based on their name.”

To spell this out for you (because I’ve seen numerous posters on other sites who don’t get it):

A. Naming your child “Adolf Hitler” is not enough to constitute child abuse (not even close though it is pretty awful).
B. The children were not taken away based on their names alone.
C. It is not known to the public or the media whether abuse occurred. DYFS has evidence of abuse. We know the police department did not receive calls, but that does not mean that DYFS didn’t receive calls or that abuse never occurred. (For God’s sake, how many battered wives and girlfriends never make a report to the police and the neighbors don’t do it for them.)

Have some common sense and develop your reading comprehension, people!

And if there’s no actual abuse, then what business does the State of New Jersey have taking these children from their parents ?

None at all.
