Peter, I wonder what percentage of any given state’s population even goes to the fair? I don’t think I would notice if ours went away; I don’t think I’ve ever been to a state fair (if so I was too young to rember).

Finally, a proposal from the governor that I can get behind! If the state is losing money on the state fair, cut it. I never go to the state fair anyway, stop it and I won’t even notice.

I never thought that I would ever say this, but I support Gov. “Destroy-Us-All” Granholm. As a Michigan resident, I am tired of that loud-mouth, socialist, Canadian moron. Rarely do I ever hear of any good proposals from her office. This one, however, seems like a fair start. Now that Detroit’s power is on the wane, maybe the rest of us who don’t live in Detroit can get some reprieve from Detroit’s rent-seeking ways.
