Thoughts, essays, and writings on Liberty. Written by the heirs of Patrick Henry.

“It will require many long years of self-education until the subject can turn himself into the citizen. A free man must be able to endure it when his fellow men act and live otherwise than he considers proper. He must free himself from the habit, just as soon as something does not please him, of calling for the police.”     Ludwig von Mises,    Liberalism

  2. I am an Illinois resident, I am just glad that I don’t live there anymore. It is pretty pathetic, I did a paper for a government class a couple semesters ago, and I am amazed that the people of Illinois continue to vote for more government and more spending, especially when we are hurting for jobs and such. Everything around my town used to run off Maytag, it closed its door and people want the government to take care of them when it was the government that ran Maytag out in the first place.
