Folks like Delong are so focused on money that they never consider that wealth and money are two different things. Government can't print wealth.
Sigh. How did Roosevelt and the Democrats gain power during the Depression when unemployment ultimately reached over 20% and stayed there? They made sure their people (ie. unions) had work and ever increasing wages which of course crowded out the rest of the people and sitfled productivity and innovation - but it did buy votes!

HERE WE GO AGAIN!

The battle lines are drawn - Government is monopolizing capital and credit - distributing money to dying industries and companies, paying union labor to perform jobs we don't need or that can be done more efficiently with automation and/or with lower wages. Remember these terms Prevailing Wage Laws, Right To Work, Deferred Maintaniance, Infrastructure. Code words all for lets buy votes and hell with the rest of America.

You think Wall Street and the Banks are a bottmoless pit wait til we see all the money disappear from no bid contracts, union dues, kick backs, substandard building materials etc.

Wonder why everyone wants windmills and solar panels and electric cars? They may generate power cheaply (narrowly speaking) but they cost a fortune to maintain and build and will be maintained with Union Labor with government guranteed over inflated wage and benefit levels.

The only thing Obama is stimulating is Union contributions and votes.
