The fact is it’s a non issue. The Supreme Court of the United States, while overturning the District of Columbia gun ban in a f to 4 vote also found unanimously that the Second Amendment is an individual right.
So that poor 25% of the public is either simply ignorant of the truth or gun hating liberals engaged in wishful thinking.

Good news I guess, although I generally don’t like it when I see questions of fundamental Constitutional rights being polled like this. Individual rights shouldn’t be subject to a popularity contest I’m sure you’ll agree.

Incidentally, I can attest to the news of the rise in gun sales based solely on a conversation I had last night with a friend who does not trust Obama, Reid, and Pelosi when it comes to the Second Amendment.
