I am interested to know why you used the word "travesty" to describe this incident.

travesty - An exaggerated or grotesque imitation, such as a parody of a literary work.

Is there something more to the story?

"Cost of a bullet: 0.41."

Well, at least for the present.

What will it cost in 2011? Any guesses?

There is currently a 4-6 week time lag on online orders, due to these type of items being chronically "out of stock." Online is the only method of purchase I have time to do, so I just have to be patient. I do not have the time to stop by the local Bass Pro on a DAILY basis to try to catch them on the day they happen receive a shipment. All handgun ammo such as .357, 38sp, and 9mm, sells out the DAY it arrives in stores. At least here in S. Florida.

Which isn't even Redneck Cracker, Jeebusville, Arkansas, so go figure.

This non-stop run on ammo has been going on unabated, for months, ever since the election. I can only wonder when it will let up.

1: I don't know
2: No...yet anyways
3: I don't know this one either
4: Georgia is a stand your ground state, so probably not. Not much legal leg to stand on.

Question 1: Did this happen in a university apartment complex?

Question 2: If so, does Georgia allow guns on campuses?

Question 3: If not, is the student going to be expelled?

Question 4: Regardless of the answers to questions 1-3, how long will it be before the student is charged with a crime?

I'm damn proud to be a Georgian right now! Georgia's gun laws have a long way to go, but they're nowhere near as bad as many other states, and we're a "Stand your ground" state as well, which this student took full advantage of.

My hat's off to him! Make America safer one bullet at a time ;)
