  3. I used to be against raising the federal debt limit, but the Concord Coalition sold me http://www.concordcoalition.org/issue-briefs/2009/0813/understanding-federal-debt-limit

    The vote against raising the debt limit is a purely political move. We shouldn’t get into a situation where we need to raise the debt limit, but if we are in that situation, we can choose a rock or a harder place. I prefer the rock.
