RSS 2.0 FeedGood News On Health Care Reform: They Don’t Have The Votes Yet

WASHINGTON – A House leader says Democrats haven’t yet lined up enough votes to pass their health care overhaul bill.
Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Maryland says the vote that House Democrats had scheduled for Saturday could slip to Sunday or early next week.
Hoyer acknowledged to reporters Friday that Democratic leaders don’t yet have the 218 votes needed to pass President Barack Obama’s historic health overhaul initiative.
Let’s make sure they never get those votes.
But how far away are they? 1? 2? 5? 20? How close are we to this? I’m sure they could find a half dozen people with a few skeletons in the closet. Pelosi learned that from dear daddy.

Oh, dear! Where was this knucklehead on September 11, 2001? Or when the Patriot Act was passed for that matter. Where was this fool in 2000 when the Supreme Court put a stop to the vote counting in the state of Florida and installed the Bush Mob in the White House? The greatest threat to freedom in nineteen years? Have another sip, Mr. Faux Tan Man.
