Thoughts, essays, and writings on Liberty. Written by the heirs of Patrick Henry.

“What is ominous is the ease with which some people go from saying that they don't like something to saying that the government should forbid it. When you go down that road, don't expect freedom to survive very long.”     Thomas Sowell

Simon Says: Hope And Change

by Simon Jester

An election has come and has gone,
Spirit of change is in the air,
But if we’re ever to cure,
This system impure,
We shall need some heavier fare.

Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
