End the Underground Railroad Educational and Cultural Program
Saves $10 million over ten years at current spending levels

This is clownish. $1m/yr is nothing. When you’re reporting FY2011 “estimated spending” (read: these asshats couldn’t even pass a goddamn budget) in trillions to two decimal places, numbers are rounded to the nearest $10b.

IMO, $1.5t, at a bare minimum, needs to be cut. You cannot do it without touching entitlements. You could zero out everything but SS, Medicare/aid, Unemployment/welfare, and interest on the debt (including ZEROING the Dept of Defense, Justice, Veterans Affairs, etc) and not eliminate the deficit.

Even the “big item” this week saves $52m/yr. This is clownish. Why bother?
