You say that as if it wasn’t either explicit or intentional.

I quite clearly stated that in the case I referenced, political ideology was a substitute for tribal identity, and for religious faith.

They are all subject to the same pathology.

Not all who subscribe to them suffer from the same pathology of course, but it is the same pathology among those who do.
