Orwell’s doublethink became doublespeak, which is exemplified when we discuss a war on a tactic. Of course, the war will conclude when the tactic is defeated or surrenders. I wonder if that will take longer or shorter than it will take for Oceania to defeat Eurasia, er Eastasia.

I wonder if the population of Eastasia is more or less than the 2.1 billion Muslims. Well regardless, I’m sure they’re all the same. And all out to get us.

Blowback is the kind of fantasy that abused wives construct for themselves “If I didn’t make him so angry, he wouldn’t hit me”.

Yes, they would. They would be trying to kill us even if we never had anything to do with them; because they need an enemy to kill, and we’re the best enemy by far.
